Google PR update, residence time vs. pageviews
I made some research about the PR update, Google pagerank, the only thing clear is that there is no news. Inexplicable silence, no indiscretion even ° from the inner circle of Guru living in Mountain View.
You could legitimately say "and who cares", and no, it is here that the truth came out. This silence, in fact, is fueling debates about theory, developed here and there, about the substantial changes that Google intends to take in the way they are classified sites.
One argument that I find interesting in the algorithm that provides for the calculation of PR greatly affect the residence time site at the expense of total pageviews. I share the view that something is stirring up in the house Biggar. Lately, the pagerank is now an economic resource for webmasters who view their pagerank lucky> 4, they start selling in the links here and there.
I believe that the pear ² mean residence time can not be a very decisive factor, indeed they a good resource for the global assessment of a website.
The average stay on my site is 2 minutes and 45 seconds in this month.

My blog although apparently is the same since its inception, has been revolutionized most times, it will do ² the history, tell ² just after these drastic changes in my PR, for several months, is dropped. But I knew it, and frankly I do not care much.
At the moment I do not watch all the statistics, why do after upgrading to WordPress 2.3 I'm re-updating all the parameters for the position (not to be an expert, but I like to understand what I do) and you know that most of the requests arrive by search engines.

Hello Guys, I wanted to take the simple reasoning vs. 2. interesting discussion:
1 - To make a MsoR which is based on residence time, G should have Analytics on all sites in the world: I do not put analytics © because Google knows exactly what then can ask for any Keyword .... knowing G has automated systems that do make the most profit .. so if you find that you are with a key from 0.05 to Convert an ROI of 1500% the month after the key immediately pay the 0.30 .. I remember that Google can find the time spent with the Toolbar or Analytics. So would be very foolish and shortsighted to rely on a concept like that. The only thing certain now is that G and Nielsen have a partnership.
2 - Now I'm going to buy some 'of links to websites of my competitors at least the abbassani the PR.
MORAL: To me, this update has hit a bit 'all in general ... Google is forcing a' hands on AdWords ....
