We really hope not, the market of the web is virtually ruled by giants Facebook and some others, I personally opt for the web, not just one website.

Facebook is now immense, from the list alexa is second only to Google.
Definitely do not go pear ² mythicise, I am always for the creation of blogs and facebook use (as long as you remain free) to get visits.
